Welcome to Women's Space!
Spring is officially here! We invite you to notice the natural world around you this month as the plants and wildlife respond to the change in season. How do you change or respond the new season and the warming weather?
August Wrap up:
We had a successful month in Women's Space. We completed our Worthy Women Program and had great interest and participation in our offered workshops. This month includes school holidays which can be a busier time for everyone. Reminder that Trauma-informed Yoga does not run in school holidays.

Yoga:
Trauma-informed Yoga will run throughout the month of September. Our Trauma-informed Yoga remains on Mondays 9:30am - 11:00am.
As always, no need to register for yoga, we supply all equipment so just come along in comfortable clothing.
Worthy Women Program:
Across July/August we ran our 6 week Worthy Women program. We are open to expressions of interest for this group, likely running next in early 2027.

Welcome to Women's Space!
July Wrap up:
We had a slower month in July from a workshop perspective, however we did begin this seasons Worthy Women group which will continue throughout August. We also ran our first Parenting Plan workshop with the help of Mikaelah and Someeya from Butler McDermott.
We are slowly approaching the end of winter, as this season comes to a close, we invite you to slowly and cosily begin to emerge from hibernation.
Trauma Sensitive Yoga will run throughout the month of August.
Our Trauma-Informed Yoga remains on Mondays 9:30am - 11:00am.

We are thrilled to have Mikaelah return to Women's Space for a Parenting Plans Workshop, this follows her supportive presentation in our week 3 workshop for Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.

Whether you're looking to deepen your self-awareness, connect with like-minded individuals, or explore new practices, there's something for everyone. Our Trauma Sensitive Yoga starts again for term 2 on the 20th April, please note our change of day to Monday!
We have three workshops on offer this month, with our embrace me workshop and our understanding trauma. Plus a DV month Art Group to create a treasure chest for art installation piece in collaboration with centacare and other services on the Sunshine Coast.

We at Women's Space want to wish everyone at Happy New Year and wanted to welcome you back to the programs we have available at Women's Space.
We are excited to welcome in the year and continue our programs for the year of 2026. We will be starting this year with a healthy relationships workshop at the end of January and looking forward to our yoga returning in February.
